Double reward for the Bavaria C42

And the winner is...

The European Sailboat of the Year Award is the most important and influential shipbuilding award in the world of sailing!

This Friday, January 22, the BAVARIA C42 won the 2021 EUROPEAN SAILING YACHT OF THE YEAR AWARD, in the family sailing category.

You could almost say that the BAVARIA C42 –– is used to success! Indeed, last December, the Bavaria C42 had already been elected "Sailboat of the Year" in France by Voile Magazine. This new title confirms the success of the German shipyard!

In the official statement, the EYOTY jury, composed of 15 professional journalists, said: “Despite some formidable competitors, the victory of the C42 is finally convincing. The Bavaria C42 has seduced  the jury with its great comfort and ideal sailing characteristics. Can be used in all conditions and is simple to control. The C42 also has scored points thanks to its good value for money, its four finishing options and its many extras ".

In 2015, six years after the victory of the Bavaria Cruiser 46, BAVARIA once again wins this great and important prize.

Congratulations to the Bavaria Yachts teams for their professionalism and their excellent work which allowed the Bavaria C42 to be such a success! The latest product from Bavaria Yachts shipyard, which completes the C range, the Bavaria C38 already seems equally promising ...
