The Story

The German manufacturer Bavaria Yachts started out as a company specializing in the manufacture of PVC windows, located in Giebelstadt. In 1978, Winfried Hermann, company director and passionate sailor, had an idea. He wanted to use the company's workforce to build pleasure boats.

His objective was simple: to allow as many people as possible to sail at very competitive prices. This is how the Bavaria brand was born.
